You may or may not know this, but Tony Stark's colleague, friend, and ex - Pepper Pots - has really been through a lot of changes lately in the comics. She's been taken from supporting cast member in Iron Man to an armor-wearing heroine in her own right. This May she gets to headline her own - one shot series. IT could be interesting. Marvel.com has published a great interview with the writer of the series. I like her I think she can do a lot with Pepper. If the issue sells well, maybe it will be extended into its own series!

While the terms of his tutelage still remain vague as to how it will affect the franchise moving forward, fans might be able to get an idea of what to expect based on Nolan’s previous cinematic works. Way back in 2008 during the junket for “The Dark Knight” MTV News had a chance to discuss Nolan’s philosophy on the genre of comic book movies and whether the film was a superhero movie or just a movie that happens to have superheroes.

This week’s announcement of Christopher Nolan’s involvement in the newly rebooted Warner Brothers “Superman” franchise has reinvigorated the interest in seeing another Man of Steel flick come to the big screen. With one massively successful DC reboot under the director’s belt, it’s clear that the studio hopes that Christopher Nolan still has the Midas touch.
“I think of it as a film that just exists in the cinematic realm,” said Nolan, “I don’t think of it as a comic book movie or just a comic book movie — and that’s something that in the whole process — where from the screenwriting point of view or the production point of view and with all departments and everything we would never let people off the hook with the notion ‘it’s a comic book movie.’”
“We just tried to make a movie that stands as a movie,” he added. “The fact that it happens to be based on a long history of this comic book character I think is irrelevant — I think it’s on us to make a great movie and not rely on the fact that it’s a comic book movie or excuse certain things because it’s a comic book movie. We didn’t want to do either; we just wanted to make as great of a movie that we possibly could.”
Your eyes do not deceive you - this is a fan-made trailer for a false movie called "DC/Marvel: Worlds Collide," a project that mashes up live-action Marvel superheroes with titans from the DC Universe. By titans, I don't mean Teen Titans of even The Titans. I mean the characters from "Smallville" and "The Dark Knight," since that's just about all that DC has to offer in the live-action world at the moment.
The video is pretty hilarious, especially when Wolverine gives a totally unprompted middle finger to the camera. Slick editing. But I'm just saying that if this was a Super Bowl commercial, I'm glad I slept through it, because I would not be able to handle the reality of "Worlds Collide." Somebody please come on here and ease my mind.
While most comics publishers may promote their books through multimedia like animated series, movies and other outlets, few have taken to directly hocking their printed materials on Youtube, except perhaps Benjamin Marra of Traditional Comics who recently called fans of awesome action, intense emotion, extreme violence and beautiful women to attention with a $3 or less price point for single issues. Additionally, the ad reminds newsprint fans just how sexy that particularly porous variety of paper can feel to the touch. That's a traditional tactile pleasure no iPad can ever reproduce, brothers and sisters.
I'd never heard of the publisher's core titles "Night Business" or "Gangsta Rap Posse," until visiting the site, but now that I have I'm pretty sure I could be placing an order in the very, very near future.
Banker Caught Looking At Racy Pics On TV

An Australian banker is facing an uncertain future after he was caught looking at racy photographs at his desk - during a live television broadcast.
The Macquarie Private Wealth employee, named by the Sydney Morning Herald as David Kiely, was looking at GQ images of Australian model Miranda Kerr.
He was unaware a colleague was doing a live television interview about the Australian economy nearby.
Australia's Seven Network broadcast the item with the photos clearly showing on a computer screen in the background.

At one stage, Mr Kiely turns and looks directly at the television camera, then realises he has been caught in shot.
His desk was empty during similar television interviews today.
The incident has become a huge hit on the internet, with over 200,000 views and a 5-star rating on YouTube.
Macquarie Bank, known locally as the "millionaire's factory', said it was taking the matter seriously.
"Macquarie has strict policies in place surrounding the use of technology and the issue arising from today's live cross on Seven News is being dealt with internally," the bank said in a statement.

So in closing out our look at the past decade, who would be considered the busiest hero of all? Well, Hal Jordan came back from the dead, and so did Barry Allen. Superman got kicked out of Metropolis, and Aquaman died and came back again. Martian Manhunter bit the dust as well, and Dick Grayson moved into the cowl and cape of the Dark Knight.
But of all these heroes, the busiest 10 years had to belong to one man: The Batman.
