Warner Bros. Developing Frank Miller's THE DARK KNIGHT RETURNS as an Animated Feature - News - GeekTyrant

I love DCU animated movies. They have all been awesome. I heard that there will be an adaption of Frank Miller's The Dark Knight Returns story arc. I'm real glad. I don't think it will be out until next year because three more have been announced to come out before Dark Knight: Emerald Knights, Batman: Year One, and a Justice League movie.

UPDATE: Mortal Kombat Trailer NOT Real! - G4tv.com

More information has been released about the footage of a new Mortal Kombat film that hit the Internet yesterday! It turns out that it's not a trailer for an existing movie in production. It's trailer for director Kevin Tancharoen taking the initiative to prove that he has what it takes to direct a new Mortal Kombat movie. All I can say to Warner Brothers or New Line (whoever owns the rights)  is this: hire these people and get out of their way!

G4TV had a quote from one of the actors in the video:

As one of the clip's stars Jeri ("Can Assimilate Me Any Day") Ryan tweeted:

"It's not a game trailer. Actually was made for the director to sell WB on his vision for a reimagined MK film. I did it as a favor to a friend. No idea yet what WB's reaction to it was. And I'm not sure how you can contact WB to push them to make it. But you guys are resourceful...! ;-)"
The test film was directed by an unlikely source in Kevin Tancharoen, who is known as a director of dance-related projects such as the recent remake of Fame and the TV series Dancelife. Choreography for those spectacular fight scenes were masterminded by Larnell Stovall, a stunt coordinator with a wealth of history on his resume, including the upcoming Green Lantern movie.

Mysterious Mortal Kombat Movie Trailer - G4tv.com

Okay, I can't call it. I don't know if this is a real trailer for a real film or not. I sincerely hope it is because it looks like it could be part of a great film! I wanna see more. The character are definitely re-conceptualize and Michael Jai White and Jeri Ryan are not bit actors but stars in their own right. Therefore I'm gonna call it a trailer for now.
