I heard much longer after the fact that Reginald Hudlin was no longer an executive at BET. I recently found this interview with Mr. Hudlin. I love it. He doesn't cover the reasons for his departure from BET but he does instead talk about the importance of Black Panther as a culture icon. The interview is from 2008 so it does not shed light on why the Black Panther Animated Series aired only in Australia and then released digitally. I've heard that it's been pulled from iTunes but I haven't checked that out myself. Something fishy is going on with how that show is being distributed.

Image via WikipediaJon Landau knows movies. He produced the two most profitable films of all time, Avatar and Titanic. But it turns out Landau knows about gaming as well. And 3D.
"Gaming is about stories," Landau said. "I don't think that's about 3D or 2D. What 3D does is it enhances the experience. You'll find gamers playing longer, you'll find gamers saying, 'I don't want play anything that isn't 3D.' but that's an individual choice. The underlying content has to be able to work in both."

More information will trickle out as we edge nearer to the game's September release date, but for the time being, I had the chance to pick the brains of the game's executive producer, Meghan Morgan, and producer, Kevin Umbricht, asking them to fill us in on Shattered Dimensions' plot (that reportedly has contributions from Amazing Spider-Man writer, Dan Slott), as well as explain their approach to the character.I these two were also at Wondercon 2010 and I can't wait to see it!
