Spider-Man Teams-Up with Spidey 2099 in 'Edge of Time' [Video] - ComicsAlliance | Comic book culture, news, humor, commentary, and reviews

One of the best things about WonderCon this year was seeing the announcement for Spider-Man: Edge of Time! I loved it. I really like to play this one. One of the great stuff was seeing Peter David again. He is one of my favorite writers and I am so glad he is doing the story. IT was hilarious when he said that they were aware of Marvel cannon states that changing a past event just starts a new timeline and can't effect future of a current timeline. His words: "We've got it." Personally I have no problem with the game mechanics where Spider-Man and Spider-Man 2099's actions affect each other's timelines.

Marvel, Activision Announce 'Spider-Man: Edge of Time,' Sequel to 'Shattered Dimensions' - ComicsAlliance | Comic book culture, news, humor, commentary, and reviews

It was announced that there will be a sequel to the Spider-Man Shattered Dimensions and lots of detail at Wondercon this Weekend. I'm planning to be there but there has been art released for the game cover!

E3 2010: Spider-Man 2099 Swings Into Spider-Man: Shattered Dimensions

Well, it was announced yesterday that third Dimension in Spider-Man: Shattered Dimension is Spider-Man 2099! And today they dropped a new tailer for it! I want this game!!!

I sure hope this story is true. Comics Alliance seems to suggest it's a solid...rumor...that the third dimension in the upcoming Spider-man game will be featuring Spider-Man 2099 and his world. This would be the first time I haves seen the character and his world in a full video game. Now this is exciting. You did have a chance to play Spider-Man in the 2099 skin but not in his world. And the screen shots look phenomenal!
