Watch Wolverine Anime Episodes English Dub | English Dubbed Episodes

Madhouse's Wolverine series has begun to be broadcasted on G4 in English. I like it, but it's not really like the Wolverine I'd expect to see.

Episode 1
In the first episode we see that Wolverine wants to save an old flame, Yuriko, and goes to Japan to do it. I hope the stakes for the series is higher than just Logan's love life,




Episode 2
This episode continues where Episode 1 left off. The story is building but I'm still not sure if the point is more than just Logan chasing after a woman whose father is really a bad mobster. I sure hope it gets more wider and more important.

Watch Iron Man Anime Episodes English Dub | English Dubbed Episodes

G4TV has released the Iron Man Anime series on television. Finally!  The Dubbed version stars Adrian Pasdar as Tony Stark/Iron Man. I like the music, acting and story so far.

Episode 1

The first episode focuses on why Tony goes to Japan and sets up the supporting cast of the series. I think Adrian Pasdar does a great job characterizing Iron Man. His Iron Man is confident, almost arrogant, but still charming. Really difficult to pull off but Pasdar pulls it off - just like I think Tony Stark would.




Episode 2: It becomes even more obvious that Tony Stark is in someone's cross hairs - trying to keep him from his goals.

Comics Alliance posted the opening Credits for X-Men Anime. I like it. I want more. I heard frtom Jeph Loeb at the Marvel Animation panel at Wondercon 2011 that ti was out in Japan. I don't understand why we couldn't have gotten at the same time?!!!

ComicsAlliance vs. The Hilariously Terrible 'Tomb of Dracula' Anime - ComicsAlliance | Comics culture, news, humor, commentary, and reviews

Comics Alliance has posted a great article giving a running commentary on an Anime movie from 1980

Little did I know that that already happened in Japan, thanks to a hilariously terrible feature-length anime special from 1980 called Dracula: Sovereign of the Damned, which largely centered around Dracula stealing the girlfriend of the actual Devil and trying to keep Satan himself from getting laid. Like so many things in the 21st century, the entire film has made its way to Youtube in six parts, and as part of ComicsAlliance's Halloween celebrations, I'm watching the whole darn thing and writing up my own running commentary to see just how bad it gets!

Marvel Goes Anime Announced at Comic Con 2009

At this year's Comic Con, Marvel announced that it is partnering up with
"renowned Japanese animation studio Madhouse (Paprika, Tokyo Godfathers) to create four all new anime versions of classic Marvel Super Heroes". The first two will be based on Wolverine and Iron Man.

These Marvel Anime TV series are being created as a way of merging the beloved Marvel Super Heroes of western culture with the bold animation tradition of Japan. The resulting product will be four visually groundbreaking anime series featuring popular Super Heroes redesigned and repurposed as emerging from the fabric of Japanese culture. The series is expected to begin appearing on the Animax channel in Japan in spring of 2010.
