Video: Henry Cavill Geeks Out At WonderCon « : Crushable - Crushable gives you the celebrity news, style and scoop on the stuff you care about.

Yes, it's impossible to experience everything that happens at WonderCon when it happens...even if you were there! I did not even know Henry Cavill was at WonderCon this last weekend.

Of course the comments on the YouTube video are a little unnerving! Sheeeh, women say we talk about them about meat? Goodness.

Spider-Man Teams-Up with Spidey 2099 in 'Edge of Time' [Video] - ComicsAlliance | Comic book culture, news, humor, commentary, and reviews

One of the best things about WonderCon this year was seeing the announcement for Spider-Man: Edge of Time! I loved it. I really like to play this one. One of the great stuff was seeing Peter David again. He is one of my favorite writers and I am so glad he is doing the story. IT was hilarious when he said that they were aware of Marvel cannon states that changing a past event just starts a new timeline and can't effect future of a current timeline. His words: "We've got it." Personally I have no problem with the game mechanics where Spider-Man and Spider-Man 2099's actions affect each other's timelines.

Wondercon 2011 - Green Lantern Panel

WonderConImage via WikipediaI was at Wondercon Friday April 1st  2011. One of the reasons I went was because I wanted to see the Green Lantern movie panel. I went to stand in line before it was supposed to stop but not early enough. The line went outside the building and around the corner. I didn't get in!!!! I didn't see any of it. Thankfully some folks were kind enough to out parts of it on YouTube!

Fortunately, I did go to the premiere of the animated movie Green Lantern: Emerald Knights. I enjoyed the movie and will definitely get the BluRay June 7th! Bruce Timm revealed in the panel that DC has the last movie Dwayne McDuffie wrote based on the Justice League early next year and Batman Year One later this year.

Nightmare Girl | Nightmare Girl From Dark Matter Comics distributed by Last Gasp Books

When I was at Wondercon, I got an announcement for a new digital comic book series designed to be on the mobile phones like iPhone. It looks like it may be interesting!

Nightmare Girl App Issue # 1 Available May 2010

Nightmare Girl is the story of Lane Devereux, sole heiress to a vast family fortune who finds she is knocking on eternity's door.

The daughter of well-to-do parents, her young life teeters precariously on the brink after an automobile accident claims their lives and leaves her severely injured and comatose.

From the confines of her hospital room we travel with her on sometimes hellish journeys within, in which she is forced to face her fate while on a path of confusion.

Friend and foe alike find themselves drawn to her bedside where their confessions, fears and tears are expressed outwardly to someone they believe no longer capable of comprehending life or it’s complications.

Find the truth out for yourself by taking a journey down the twisting, turning, hellish road that spirals deep within the puzzling and perilous world of Nightmare Girl.

Wondercon 2010

Well, it's been a week since Wondercon 2010 and I miss it. I had a great time. I went to two of the three days. I took my daughter with me (pictured on the left with her new tribble!) on Friday and went with my friend on Saturday. The convention has gotten so big this year I was not able to go to everything. Fortunately through the magic of YouTube I can see some of things I missed. I got some great trade paperbacks and collections. I also was able to get 8 inch Iron Man and War Machine action figures. Here are some of my favorite videos from YouTube.

Here is another attendee's review!
