"Green Lantern: Emerald Knights" Blu-ray, DVD Details Revealed - Comic Book Resources

Alright so you know how nowadays they release movies in mulitple fomats? Well I was wondering which version of the Green Lantern: Emerald Knights I should aim for? Definitely the Blu- Ray version!

“Green Lantern: Emerald Knights is filled with wonderful backstory and exposition on the Green Lantern Corps going far beyond Hal Jordan, making this film a perfect complement to the live-action major motion picture, Green Lantern,” said Hersin Magante, WHV Marketing Director, Family & Animation.
Green Lantern: Emerald Knights Blu-Ray™ Combo Pack has over 2 1/2 hours of exciting content, including:
  • Feature film (est. 75 min)
  • Sneak Peak at Batman: Year One, the next DC Universe Animated Original Movie
  • Behind-the-Scenes look at All-Star Superman
  • Featurette: “Only the Bravest: Tales of The Green Lantern Corps” – Bravery is the unique, identifying characteristic of each Green Lantern. Yet what does it mean to be brave? How has the world of Green Lantern and the Corps made bravery into something we can all relate to? This story reveals and defines the bond that holds together the Green Lanterns’ affection for the ring, and the ring’s unwavering loyalty in return.
  • Featurette: “Why Green Lantern Matters: The Talent of Geoff Johns” – Geoff Johns is a force to be reckoned with. He’s not only the Chief Creative Officer of DC Entertainment, he’s a New York Times bestselling writer with a fresh and vibrant storytelling perspective. Johns discusses his contemporary take on the Green Lantern character and why that character resonates in our culture.
  • Pod: From Comic Book to Screen: Abin Sur – Take a peek into Geoff John’s “Green Lantern Secret Origin” book which, for the first time, showed fans what really happened to Abin Sur before he crashed landed on Earth, and passed his ring to Hal Jordan.
  • Pod: Beautiful … But Deadly – From Comic Book to Screen: Laira Omoto – Green Lantern: Emerald Knights again creatively weaved a riveting comic book short story into the
intricate plot of the film while introducing the honorable Green Lantern, Laira Omoto. Known as one of the Green Lantern Corps’ fiercest warriors, this mini-featurette takes a deeper look into the history and origin of this humanoid marital artist and her
family feud with the Golden Dragon!
  • Audio Commentary: Dan DiDio and Geoff Johns
  • “Green Lantern” Digital Comic Book
  • Two bonus episodes from animated television series handpicked by Bruce Timm.
  • Standard and high definition versions of the feature film
  • Digital copy on disc of the feature film

Inside Target's Exclusive Iron Man 2 Blu-ray

Iron Man 2 comes out on DVD September 28. I was wondering where I should buy it and today news hit that tells me I need to get it from Target. In addition to the movie, the Blu-Ray will include the Comic Con 2010 footage for Captain America that I've been scouring the Internet for and coming up empty!
In addition the Target version will have:
·3D Lenticular cover image features the MACH-IV Iron Man suit
·Interior image is Target's exclusive image of Tony Stark's "Hall of Armor"
·The back of the case includes both Iron Man and War Machine
·Blu-ray-sized metal case, from MetalPak, holds all 3 discs
This very limited edition item is sure to sell out quickly, so ordering early at Target.com is the best way to make sure you own this in your collection.
Looks like I'm pre-ordering.

Want to See the 'Thor' and 'Captain America' Comic-Con Footage? - ScifiSquad.com

I just found this out. No wonder the footage for Captain America from Comic-Con 2010 is not up on the Internet
I wish that below this text you could find official embeds of Marvel's Thor and Captain America: The First Avenger presentations from this year's Comic-Con, but sadly that's not the case. I do know how you can see the footage, however. It's actually pretty simple: just wait until September 28th and buy Iron Man 2 on Blu-ray.
ComicBookMovie.com tells us that clips from both movies will be a part of Iron Man 2's special features. Thing is, you'll actually have to do some digging to find them. They'll be hidden within something called the "S.H.I.E.L.D. Data Vault". It'll probably just be an item on the menu screen that seems unselectable at first glance, as is the case with most Easter Eggs, but if it's any more complex than that I'm sure it'll be no time flat before someone online explains how to access the goods.
As for the actual goods, you can expect to see: the five-minute Thor trailer (with finalized effects!), the Captain America costume test and teaser trailer, and, according to Movie Viral, "a Cap scene with Hugo Weaving trying to get the cosmic cube." Pretty groovy, especially for a Blu-ray that is already packed to the gills with special features.
Blu-Ray it is!
