Writing The Avengers Movie Prelude | Avengers | Comic News | News | Marvel.com

There is a prequel comic book for Avengers being released Sunday. It's going to be available through Comixology for free and I'm hoping that it will be for all devices not just iOS devices.

This Sunday, February 5, fans can download the first issue of MARVEL’S THE AVENGERS PRELUDE: FURY’S BIG WEEK for free on the Marvel Comics app and set out on the road that will lead to the Avengers film this summer.

comiXology :: Retailer Tools from comiXology

I had no idea that there was an off the shelf solution for comic book stores to easily display the most recent upcoming books right on their web sites. This is a great idea!

Marvel Teams with ComiXology for iPad App

Marvel Comics will have it's own app fort reading comic books on an iPad. I like the article linked here from Comic Alliance, but it doesn't answer my questions. Will it be a different service from Marvel's Digital Comics subscription? The PSP service is different. You buy only the issues you want. I like the subscription model from Marvel. I just hope that a single subscription can be used with the web site and with the iPad.
