PS3 update locking out Linux April 1 - News at GameSpot

I am really not happy with the move Sony plans to make to lock out the ability to run Linux on PS3. They are forcing the issue because if you don't update to the latest firmware which means you can't run Linux, you also forfeit access to the Playstation Network (PSN). Draconian? Yes. But I will upgrade anyway as will most people.
