Here is a wonderful interview of the writer, Gail Simone, who write the Birds of Prey comic book series. It is a very enjoyable interview because Ms Simone is even more interesting than the characters she writes and the interviewer asks great questions!!! My favorite quote from this interview.

I don’t think there’s another book on the stands with the same mix of elements that Birds of Prey has. It’s not me, it’s the characters, they’re about heart, courage, respect, friendship, ferocity, brains, name it, they have it. And it’s a group of women who genuinely love each other, that’s rare in ALL media, let alone comics.

Gotta face facts: She's telling the truth.
