Happy 50th Birthday, Bruce Timm! [Art] - ComicsAlliance | Comics culture, news, humor, commentary, and reviews

Well, I totally missed this one. Bruce Timm is almost singlehandedly responsible for building the animated DC Universe shows ever since 1992. 50 is a milestone! I'm happy for him and I have found out that he has been in the industry for years. He also worked on GI Joe and Tiny Toons. Bruce Timm is a genius.

Masked Superhero Told to Retire

Comics Alliance has posted an interesting video about a crack down on people who think they are superheroes. Reminds me of the movie Watchmen and Kick Ass. I thought it was a joke at first but I was wrong.

Jeri Ryan To Return in Mortal Kombat Feature Film ReelComix

This is good news. Turns out that Warner Bros is not stupid!!! A few months ago there was a fan-made film based on Mortal Kombat. At first no one was sure if it was a real official trailer or fan made - it was that that good. Fortunately, not only has the studio commissioned the movie to be made but they are bringing on Jeri Ryan and Michael Jai White, who were in the fan film, are going to be in the movie! And they got the guy who made the fan film - Kevin Tancharoen.

MAXIMUM SUMII: New Spider-Man Movie 2012 Photos

Do you know one of the reasons why the First Spider-man trilogy of films were successful?! They didn't mess up the costume!!!! What is this??!!! It reminds me of some of the possible costume designs I saw for the first movie. There is a reason they went with the classic look. I'm not happy.

10 Awesome DC Animated Moments from Cartoons That Aren't Part of the DC Animated Universe - Topless Robot - Page 1

I liked this article. I d0n't tend to break up DC's animated shows this way. I've got to admit that everything aired before Justice League Unlimited could be argued to have happened in the same Universe, but I kind of break up the timeline as from 1992 to now everything is more than amazing and perfect. Before that...not much. I liked the moments highlighted in this article. You don't have to be a fan of DC Comics characters to have enjoyed these...they just happen to be some of the best examples of animation ever produced.
