Well Season 4 is over and Sylar is a good guy???! I admit I did not see that coming. I liked the fight between Samuel and Peter. It was cool. I felt bad that Hiro and Charlie can't be together. And I thought that was really a bad start for Season 5; volume 6. I mean why can't Claire listen to her father. See what I mean below.
I watched "The Wall" last night and I think it's my favorite episode this Season! I saw three story lines and I can't wait to see them come together in the season finale.
1. I was shocked to see that Noah had a wife and an unborn child killed by a "special". No wonder he behaves as he does. And his wife was black?!!
2. The only thing that was keeping Sylar and Peter trapped was that they did not forgive Sylar - kind of metaphysical.
3. I wanna see how Claire is going to get Noah and her father out of that hole.
4. I'm glad to see that Claire could forgive and understand Noah.
5. What? Is Sylar good again?
6. If Peter can pick and choose the abilities her takes, why doesn't he just take Sylar's ability to copy other people's powers and then get back to full strength?
Well, this week's Heroes had some good points and some bad points. First the good.
1. Samuel having his main rival for leadership assassinated and himself almost killed while making Noah Bennet the scapegoat was clever and very good impersonation of Emperor Palpatine from Star Wars
2. Matt Parkman defeating Sylar - Priceless.
Now the bad.
1. Since Sylar can absorb the powers of others without killing them, why didn't he just copy Matt's powers and supress his own powers?
2. Claire hasn't seemed to learn anything the past 4 years.
3. Peter still doesn't have his full powers back.
4. I think making Claire fall in love with her room mate is inconsistent with the rest of her character. I mean all of a sudden, she likes girls?
5. I think Peter should take Sylar's powers instead of freeing him from that Prison Matt put him in.
6. Matt's wife was way too calm fo the situations her family was in...not too believable.
The show is salvageable. Personally, bringing Peter back to full power and having him really fight Sylar would make me happy.
Yes, I did see this week's Heroes episode. I was disappointed. I mean why would Claire become a lesbian all of a sudden. It seems to come out of no where. Kind of like Willow in the Buffy television series. Also, I don't see how Sylar having abilities is forcing him to kill people. I mean he should just stop. I also was not surprised to see Samuel go off the deep end when Vanessa rejected him. Big surprise. The only thing I liked was Hiro's subplot facing his greatest enemy and coming to terms with decisions in his life. Seeing his mother again was cool - unexplained but I'll go with it and also the resolution of Hiro's tumor. I think Heroes may have "jumped the shark" . The one thing that can bring it back for me is if Peter gets all of his powers back. He should take them from Sylar. I'm going to continue giving the show a chance in the meantime.
I saw Heroes last night and I liked it. I thought that it was good. I'm glad Hiro is back in his right mind. I'm hoping that Peter comes up to full power soon. I liked the episode. I liked how the story is building. I want to know what's coming next and how they would all meet up and the story plays out. i just hope now more of the regular class dies.

Episode 12: "Upon This Rock"
The first part was about Claire finding out that Samuel is not who she thought. But
I think she is tell leaning towards his vision but she does not entirely trust her. We finally pioked up with Hiro back in Japan. Good thing he had Ando to help him. He pieced together that at the carnival Hiro's mind was scrambled to keep him from stopping Samuel. but we still don't really know what Hiro is trying to do yet.
Episode 13: "Let It bleed"
Out of the two, the second part is my favorite one. We get to see many of the main characters come to grips with Nathan's death. I'm just glad they didn't all just get over it. Claire and Peter are also coming to grips wit the fact that Noah and Angela lied to them. Peter really was taking it hard. I aslo liked how we get to see how real ruthless and cunning Noah truly is. In many ways he is more dangerous than Sylar. Speaking of Sylar, he seems different. Could a lot of Nathan still be in him? Is that why he doesn't like killing anymore? A lot of questions. I sure wish, Peter would get back to gfulll power and can hold multiple powers at once again...or tone Sylar down.
I really thought that Claire had matured to the point that she could tell when she is getting played, but the most frustrating things about the latest episode of Heroes was that she could not see Samuel for who he is - evil. The other thing that was done well, but i wish the show had taken a different direction was killing Nathan. I really like Nathan and I think it was a mistake to put him in Sylar's body and kill him. The thing that I liked most about the story was Peter kicking Sylar's behind. He was using the Haitian's power in ways i have never seen. I mean I did not know he could turn his power off and on. And Peter seemed to control what power was suppressed and what wasn't. I still think Peter should get back tyo the same lever of powers he had in seasons 1 and 2. Oh. And where did Hiro go!
It was a great episode last night. It seems like my fears of Heroes "jumping the shark" were premature. I really liked this issue. The idea of showing Thanksgiving being celebrated by 3 groups simultaneously was cool. Also allowing so many cliff hangers really makes me want to see the next episode. I mean what will happen when Claire makes it to the carnival? What happens when Peter catches Sylar? I've heard that the actor playing Nathan has been let go, so I don't think Nathan can be saved. And i want to know what Samuel's master plan is and what happened to Hiro? There were two big reveals in this show that I was wondering about.
1. Did Peter and Claire know that Nathan was dead? No they didn't.
2. What really happened to Samuel's brother? They showed that Samuel, enraged, killed him with a rock. Made me think of Cain and Able.
3. It seems that Matt Parkman was able to rip Nathan's soul out of his body and put it into Sylar - not just Nathan's memories but his desires and ethics.
I'm wondering what will happen now that so many people at the carnival have now seen Samuel's true face. And I admit now that Peter is going against Sylar, I really wish Peter was back to full power.
The latest episode of Heroes was great. I thought that they made a lot of great twists to the stories. At first I thought Suresh was gonna stay dead but I'm glad he wasn't. Now we finally know why Samuel wants to bring as many specials around him as possible. There are still unanswered questions...lots of them. At least, Matt got Sylar out of his head...only there was no clear statement about where Sylar ended up. I really liked Hiro in this episode too. He showed a great deal of compassion. He doesn't want to do evil things, yet he still is willing to do extreme things to protect Charlie. Next week looks like it will be even better.
I really enjoyed this episode! The party I enjoyed most was the Sylar - Parkman interaction. They kept one-upping each other - raising the stakes. The question became how far would Matt go to stop Sylar? I want to know what Samuel did with Hiro after last weeks episode. I am tired of Claire going back to mistrusting her dad. i mean she's like a yoyo. Pick an opinion, girl, and stick to it. Another thing is I think Heroes is treating things as it Sylar's mind latched on to Parkman and Natha's is in Sylar's body. The question here is a person summed up and completely described by their memories? i don't think so. The human soul is more than the sum of his/her memories. I thought that (at the end of season 3) it was Sylar who thought that he was Nathan, yet he was still Sylar. I would have made where all Sylar could do when he was Nathan is fly. For that matter, how can Sylar fly? I don't remember him ever absorbing Nathan's power. Also, I would really like to see Peter back to full power.
I saw the latest episode of "Heroes" and It was good. I liked how Hiro figured out how to preserve the timeline and save Charlie at the same time. I was worried there where it looked like he was willing to sell out Claire, Peter, and New York City for one life. I was wondering that if Hiro had changed so many events, would his own memories stay consistent? That may be what is causing Hiro's tumor. We also know why the carnival guy wants Hiro. He wants to use Hiro to change the past. In what way? we don't know yet. But I wanna find out. I was amazed to see Bennet three years earlier interacting with a woman he almost had an affair with that was no where in season 1. That was interesting and allowed us to see more of who Bennet is.
I liked "Tabula Rosa". It's hard to tell where the series is going. I liked the relationship Hiro was able to build with the new deaf character. I'm getting a little tire of Sylar boing back and forth between evil and good. I don't really understand why the circus wants the old Sylar back. I mean' I'm sure he'll kill them all and take their powers. I aslo wish that they would re-power Peter so that he can use all the abilities he as absorbed whenever he wants. Then i would like to see a full-on fight that has never actually taken place yet. Watching this episode reminded me of some plot threads that just remained hanging. For example what about Caitlin in Season 2...I mean she was stuck 2008, when it was 2007, now its 2009. What happened to her? And Micah and his cousins? I wish they would bring them back.
I saw the 3rd Episode of the latest Season. You can see it yourself below. I like the new character who is deaf but can see sound. I'm wondering what does the carnival really want with Peter and can Peter hold on to his powers once he absorbs them? I hope so, he was cooler in seasons 1 and 2. The other thing that shocked me about the episode is that Sylar proved that he could use Matt's power against him. I saw one comment that Matt should put Sylar into a pig or a brain-dead coma patient. I can't wait for the next episode.
