There is a new mobile game called DC Heroes United. It takes place in the DC Universe where we watch how the Justice League forms. Superman, Batman, Wonder Woman, Cyborg, and Black Canary are new and just starting out. Doctor Fate is name dropped but I think he will show up. What make this different is that it's a mobile game where the game play and choices the players make dictate how a companion streaming show takes place. I have seen the first episode. I like the story. The creators of this thing have made some questionable decisions. I know Lex Luthor being a member of the Justice League has canonical precedent, but on the show so far they do not explain much about Luthor but hint that he may be evil because Batman does not trust him. On top of that why is Lex Luthor black? And while I am asking questions, why is Steve Trevor black? What are they doing? The shows' animated graphics is also a throwback to me - Playstation 2 quality. Remember the Batman game from 2001, Batman Vengence, on Playstation 2? Yeah like that. I do like the action in the game because Batman was awesome in his movements. I am also trying to figure out why the game's characters do not look like they do in the show? They look like they are in chibi anime style - my least favorite art style. At this point I am sure I am going to watch the show, but I am not sure about keep playing the game. Following is episode 1 and links that you might be interested in.
