10 Nerdiest Roles of David Warner - Topless Robot - Page 1

David WarnerCover of David Warner
David Warner is one of those actors that consistently does great quality work in whatever he does - yet never seems to get formal recognition. I like this article and agree with the blogger's view points on these roles. Couldn't he get a life-time achievement Oscar or Emmy or something?! Please!

A New Awesome Non-Existent Trailer for Arkham City - Topless Robot

Batman: an iconic superhero whose powers are r...Image via Wikipedia
Someone has managed to take cinematics from Arkham Assylum to come up with another video that looks like Batman and Joker fighting side-by-side (at least I think it is fan-made).

Transformers: The Cars Behind the Original Autobots [Infographic] - ComicsAlliance | Comics culture, news, humor, commentary, and reviews

Original Transformers Autobots
Research and Design by: CarInsurance.org

I like this! If this is truly supposed to represent the American G1 version of Transformers there are some mistakes, but still awesome. For example: that is not what mid-80s Optimus Prime ransformed into. Ratchet's ambulance mode didn't look like that. I think they got him mixed up with First Aid. Also that is not what Rodimus Prime's robot mode looks like.

'Black Panther' Finally Lands on DVD -- Was It Worth the Wait? - ComicsAlliance | Comics culture, news, humor, commentary, and reviews

Here is a Comics Alliance's article on whether or not the Black Panther on DVD was worth the two year wait. The article is very positive of the series. I'm glad about that. I really like the series. I liked the animation and the story. If you have not seen the series yet, I think you should get your hands on it as soon as possible.

(The New) ThunderCats Are Loose - Topless Robot

Thundercats will be coming back! Again. I admit that I never thought we would care about Thundercats almost 30 years later when I was watching them as a child. I really like the commentary on Topless Robot blog. I have to agree the blogger has a point.

Indeed. I think Panthro and Tygra look great, so no problems there. Honestly, Lion-O looks too anime even for me, and I ran a goddamn anime magazine for five years. However, Cheetara looks incredible, and will no doubt inspire a whole new generation of boys to have a deeply confusing and shameful attraction to furries. Really, that's as much as I hoped for from the new ThunderCats anyways. (Via ThunderCats Lair and Poe Ghostal)

'Wizard' and 'ToyFare' Magazines Canceled -- R.I.P. - ComicsAlliance | Comics culture, news, humor, commentary, and reviews

Comics Alliance, as well as many other sources, announced that both Wizard and ToyFare Magazines have been canceled as print media. This is sad news for me. I used to love reading Wizard. Wizard was a great throughout the 1990's. I liked the articles and the features. It was their "Grudge Match" series of articles that inspired my Grudge match articles on my Favorite Fiction blog with MUGEN characters. I do hope they pull of an online Internet magazine.

Ok, you cannot be a fan of 80s action animation without having loved some of Stan Bush. He's still working.

First 'X-Men: First Class' Image Surfaces, Looks Super Wonky - ComicsAlliance | Comics culture, news, humor, commentary, and reviews

The first picture of some of the cast for X-Men: First Class was released today

In an apparent effort to toy with the collective comics/movie blogosphere, MSN Entertainment posted and pulled a pretty dubious image depicting the cast of X-Men: First Class earlier today. Now, thanks to internet immortality, you can still see Michael Fassbender (Magneto), Rose Byrne (Moira MacTaggert), January Jones (Emma Frost), Jason Flemyng (Azazel), Nicholas Hoult (Beast), Lucas Till (Havok), Zoe Kravitz (Angel), Jennifer Lawrence (Mystique), and James McAvoy (Charles Xavier) standing in dramatic, possibly fake poses from left to right. Forget class, these muties look like they're ready for the dance! Its theme? Enchantment Under the Darkness.

As pointed out by Spinoff, cast members Kevin Bacon (Sebastian Shaw), Edi Gathegi (Darwin), Oliver Platt (the Man in Black), and Caleb Landry Jones (Banshee) didn't make it into the group shot. Perhaps they had early sports practice? Or maybe they overslept and missed the school bus. Picture Day sneaks up on you like that.

The movie is out June 3, and will probably not include an actual school dance scene, let alone one as awesome as the one in Back to the Future.

My comment: Where is Cyclops!!!!? Why is Mystique there? And why is Angel a girl? And why didn't they just stick to the original 5 X-Men? Oops! I think this movie just might suck.
